Glenn Beck said goodbye to his audience and looked back on his tumultuous tenure at Fox News on Thursday, the last episode of the ‘Glenn Beck Show.’ Of course, there was the requisite career retrospective full of clips from his time on the network, starting with his first show January 19, 2009. Media Matters had released their own highlight reel of Beck’s most outrageous statements earlier in the day, but Beck’s focused on the good times.
“This is only the third time that I’ve actually done live TV, so buckle up ‘cuz it could get very, very bumpy,” he said on that first broadcast. The mostly goofy clips that followed confirmed that, as Beck struggled to find the correct camera to address and pieces of his backdrop fell behind him, interrupting a rant about out of control government.
The last clip was the one that seemed most out of context — Beck in his tailored suit and striped shirt, also wearing bright blue surgical gloves, laughing and saying into the camera, “This is the dumbest damn show on air.” Now it will be the dumbest damn show on the Internet, which is where Beck is moving his enterprise (along with radio and publishing). A strange, brief chapter in broadcast history has ended.

The Art Of Erdem

For his latest collection, Erdem Moralioglu took the pretty girl from his Spring show and turned her on her head. Well, not literally, but the London-based designer toyed with the codes of femininity in a darker way by incorporating latex used for bondage and mixing it with soft lace. And his followers like the results: “So far, the pieces that people seem attracted to are the latex dresses and the trompe l’oeil tweed chiffon pieces,” he tells Style.com.
The road to the final product, however, was a long (and not always easy) one: “The finale dress was a challenge. It took weeks of hand embroidery—we almost didn’t finish it in time,” he says. The Canadian-born designer’s sister, Sara Moralioglu, followed his entire creative process this season, from design concept to the show, and caught it all on film. “This collection was particularly interesting as he would talk about various fabrics, things like latex or colors that you wouldn’t necessarily think of as beautiful,” she says. “There were lots of elements in this season that on paper sounded really off, but then he would transform them into these fabulous dresses and gowns.” Style.com has the exclusive Swarovski-presented film, here.

Rihanna shows her softer side for Emporio Armani
BY Olivia Bergin | 09 March 2012
Rihanna might be reeling over the recent behaviour of her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown - the fellow singer has reportedly got a tattoo of his new partner’s face - but judging by this video,Wholesale Louis Vuitton Jewelry, it’s Riri who will be having the last laugh.
Rihanna: She Wears It Well
The 23-year-old performer has teamed up with designer giant Emporio Armani for a second season, and the result is another smouldering set of pictures and a promotional video depicting Rihanna writhing around in lacy lingerie.
While Rihanna’s debut campaign saw her posing dominatrix-style wearing a blonde wig in the back of a car, these new images, captured by talented duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott in Dublin, show a softer, more sensual side to the Barbadian pop star.

The McQueen Team
The thing to wear at last night’s Met gala? Recent and vintage frocks by the evening’s honoree, Alexander McQueen. On the night when everyone dresses to outdo, McQueen got some of the biggest gets. Let’s review, shall we?
In the contemporary camp were Anna Dello Russo, who went for the egghead look in a duchesse satin tailcoat and embroidered trousers from Spring ‘11; Coco Rocha,Discount Baby Phat, who wore a navy halter dress from pre-fall ‘11; and Raquel Zimmermann, who chose Fall ‘11.
Others chose to trawl the archives. Sarah Jessica Parker and lady in red Gisele went with Fall ‘05 (above, and with the original runway looks); Karen Elson opted for Spring ‘04 (and as you can see above, she modeled it in the original show, too).
And a few of the evening’s brightest lights chose one-of-a-kind. Chair Salma Hayek and McQueen pal Naomi Campbell both wore archival couture pieces.
And then, of course, there’s Daphne Guinness. McQueen’s close friend wore a feathered lilac dress from Spring ‘11, but her gala prep was more public than most. Guinness got dressed for the event in the windows at Barneys.

Canadian footwear designer Jerome C. Rousseau is a favorite of our senior fashion editor Marina Larroude. As if there isn’t already enough sex appeal in his Spring ‘12 collection of bold-colored booties and black suede peep-toe pumps, the designer had Mary Rozzi photograph his muse, actress Roxane Mesquida, in Joshua Tree National Park wearing almost nothing but the shoes for his Spring campaign. The shoes hit stores later this week, wholesale Ed hardy t-shirts, but Style.com has exclusive campaign images now.

One of the must have items that seems to be on every editor and celebrity wish list this season is the military jacket.
I love this one from the Lourdes Leon collection, which you can find via Material Girl at Macys. Its chic ($38!) and cheap and cheerful.
