Stocks in the retail sector were mostly higher Tuesday afternoon after sales numbers from June rose above Wall Street’s expectations.
Only four of the 28 stocks in the S&P Retailing Index were down, both of which are auto-related: O’Reilly Automotive (ORLY: 40.73, -0.36, -0.88%) and Genuine Parts (GPC: 34.73, 0.48, 1.4%).
