Paris Hilton claims a man with “2 big knives” tried to break into her Los Angeles-area home early this morning.
“I’m OK,” Hilton, 29, tells E! News. “Just scary, thank god he didn’t get in.”
Police have not revealed the identity of the man.

On her Twitter page Tuesday, she posted a photo of police apprehending a man around 6:30 a.m. Under the shot, she wrote: “So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes. Cops are here arresting him.”
Hilton’s rep tells UsMagazine.com: “I can confirm that in the early hours of this morning an armed man with two kitchen knives attempted to break in to Paris Hilton’s home when she was sleeping. The security cameras and alarm system were alerted, and the police immediately came to the house and arrested the intruder who was attempting to break a window when they arrived. Paris is naturally shaken by the events but is unharmed and well. She is very thankful to her security team and the police for their swift and diligent response.”

This isn’t the first time Hilton has faced intruders: In 2008,Ed hardy t-shirts, an estimated $2 million in belongings were stolen from her home.
